Hi Ace
Its going good now.  Had a bit of a hick up with the torque converter but its all fixed up now.
I love driving it. I contemplated buying a new triton a few months back but came to my senses.  I think I would miss my 80 so I can't part with it.

I quite like the new tritons and with the optional factory locker they are pretty capable, but you gotta go with what you like

When the Tritons first came out I thought they were ugly but they have grown on me.  They have an excellent standard features list in regards to their safety options and like you say with the optional factory lockers, all you need is a lift and bull bar.  Maybe one day.  Good friends of mine have test driven one and like it so I might have to check it out if they buy it.

we test drove one, but couldnt afford it in the end, looking at keeping the Disco and setting it up, getting rid of stacey's pajero eventually and getting a bike and then one day i swear i will own a BF GT Falcon in Bionic Blue with GT stripes Grin

Save your money. My mate has a BA GT-P and it's not fast. It should be a rocketship for $85,000, but it's disappointing. It's just so bloody heavy, it's 1800+ kg.

An XR6T modded for about 400kW would be much better, and you'd have about $50,000 left over. But in the end, they're all just Falcons.
