Ace, any chance we can remove the scrolling across when large images are displayed? I have seen on other forums, the whole thread page gets wider to cope with it. Or perhaps just make the thread pages about 1100 pixels wide, so that the scrollbar only appears when images larger than 1024 pixels wide are displayed? Even though I hate widescreen monitors (I refuse to have them at work!) and usually post on a laptop with a small screen, I still end up with about 2" wasted space either side of the page, but have to scroll across to see larger pics that are posted. I'm sure the experience is the same for most of us. Let me know what you think mate

havent had time mate, but its on the to do list. I am in the process of looking into changing the software the forum runs on so that will change everything. Im just working out how i will move all the members and the content of this forum onto the new software. Matt

yes, thats the plan, but the software cost $200 so it might be a few weeks.

LOL no worries mate. Let me know if you need a hand, me being a nerd and all. I seem to remember a long time ago when the Volvo forum migrated to vBulletin, there were some issues with getting the database to work, or something like that. Might not be much of an issue with a smaller number of members and posts though.

Probably will be to me as well, but together we should be able to figure it out. Any issues with database tables when migrating? Both run on MySQL?

yeah both run MySQL, there is a program code you can run that you get from Vbulliten and it transfers all the data over, there is plenty of support on the support forum but it might still take a while.

Ah right. Make sure you make a backup copy of the existing database and put it somewhere out of the way before you run the vBulletin script, just in case something goes wrong.
