and i might put a small water tank under the sill later anyway to run a shower....

not a bad idea, they do a water bladder that goes inside your rear quarters dont they, behind the trim. Now thats making use of otherwise wasted space.

yep but that's were the jack and whatnot go in the cruiser i am making a water tank of about 20L out of 100mm pvc for the roof rack for drinking and washing hands.....

Its always a good option. I have wondered if it would be possible to make a rear bar that doubles as a water tank. You would have to alter what you made the bar out of though wouldnt you?

Yeah, i thought that, would rust inside unless it was stainless, or galvanised, and a PVC rear bar wouldnt do much for protecting the rear of the car LOL
